The activity check has come to a close and unfortunately we have lost a great deal of characters in the process. This means that more high positions are available for the taking. I am very eager to hopefully get this place thriving again, so welcome to all the new and returning members of Instinct! I really strongly encourage posting and activity - it is the best remedy to a struggling site, thank you guys all so much!
- LOST.
Shaken by nightmares, Flamestar woke up trembling and breathless. The cold of leaf-bare bit him like a badger's jaw ! And yet, it was just the beginning of leaf-bare... This season was the coldest he ever knew and the red tom wondered when the first case of greencough would declare itself. The game became scarce, and the Thunderclan leader could only watch his peers becoming more and more thin. He got up and left his foam litter to go out. When he peeked his head out his den, some cats looked in his direction, waiting for a good new. But Flamestar had nothing to bring them. His clanmates lowered their heads, disappointed. The flame-colored pelt cat sat down on the Highledge and he let wander his gaze on the top of the cliff. He was just came back from the Moonpool, where he recieved his nine lives and his leader's name, one day ago. All this pressure on his shoulders... Fortunately, he could count on Mouse-ear, his deputy.
The Ripplestar's death was always in his mind, her light gray fur lying on the shore of the lake, Pineclaw right next to her. His own brother let his leader, his mentor, his friend die to hurt him, to make him feel all the sorrow that he felt when Lightningtail was crashed by a monster during a fight between Flamestar and him, so moons ago. Now, Pineclaw wasn't his brother anymore, but his enemy.
Mouseear emerged from the Warriors den and right away felt the biting cold. She shivered slightly. Looking around the camp she spotted Flamestar beside the highrock. She headed towards the fresh-kill pile but stopped when she saw that there was hardly anything there just one shrew and two small birds. Turning she went to talk with Flamestar. Sitting down beside him Mouseear could see that he was preoccupied with something. Though she didn't want to bother him she knew that there were some things that needed to be addressed. Clearing her through she started out with the worst subject, "What do you think of Riverclan?" She really didn't want to put more weight on his shoulders but it did seem necessary. "What should we do about them?" A dozen ideas ran through her mind, but she wanted to know what he thought before she suggested anything.
