FRIENDS

Ospreypaw, though sometimes a pain to get along with on account of his brashness and energy, is overall a very friendly and outgoing cat, and he is quick to think of others as his friends. Though he may seem somewhat headstrong, his closest and most treasured friends' opinions and feelings are always much more important to him than his own, and he is very protective of any friends he makes. Unfortunately, as a result of a hidden and deep-seated insecurity, he can sometimes tend to be a bit on the possessive side, having a tendency to feel left out, lonesome or even jealous when his friends don't spend any time with him.

• Brackenpaw - right now, Ospreypaw's best friend is his brother; the two have been close since kithood, and this is unlikely to change any time soon.
  
• Timberpaw - another apprentice and Ospreypaw's denmate, Ospreypaw considers him a good friend.
  

FOES

Because he is slightly naive by nature, it can sometimes take Ospreypaw a while to realize when another cat is treating him passive-aggressively or otherwise showing signs that they dislike him. As soon as any animosity becomes clear, he might begin to show some back or feel upset - but it isn't very often that Ospreypaw would truly find someone that he disliked or considered an 'enemy;' his steadfast loyalty to his Clan extends to all his Clanmates, and it would be nigh impossible for him to make an enemy within his own Clan. Similarly, he is friendly enough that it would be hard for him to hold even any cat in another Clan as an enemy, at least any more than he considers all cats of other Clans his rivals. The only exception would be if said cat treated his friends, family, or even just his Clanmates badly enough - then even Ospreypaw, ever protective of the cats he cares about, would have to admit that this cat was an enemy.

ROMANCE?

Ospreypaw is still young, and currently very focused on his training and his dreams of becoming a great warrior. This doesn't mean he couldn't find a special tom or she-cat - and, in fact, deep down, it's likely that Ospreypaw is somewhat of a romantic. However, he is likely to be very oblivious when it comes to matters of love in the future - though he might realize his own feelings without a huge amount of difficulty, it would probably take a lot for him to ever consider that another cat might think of him in a romantic way, on account of his own insecurities. That said, Ospreypaw would do well to have some cat to ground him and to ease some of his brashness at times, and romance might very well be in his future one day.

FRIENDS

Brackenpaw has always been more in tune to the emotions of others, and, despite how distant he can sometimes appear, cares deeply about the feelings of his Clanmates. Despite this, he is a little on the antisocial side, and he has trouble actually making friends  - he's the type to observe from afar and offer help or advice only when it's asked of him, though he is happy to give said help, simply because he is introverted by nature. It isn't impossible for him to befriend someone, though, especially if they spend any amount of time together - the only thing is, it's rare for Brackenpaw to spend much time on anything other than medicine cat duties or daydreaming.

• Featherpaw - a fellow medicine cat apprentice, Featherpaw and Brackenpaw started their training at almost exactly the same time, so the two are somewhat close, and Brackenpaw treats her as a friend.

Brackenpaw, despite his caring nature, can sometimes be quick to judge others when they do wrong. Though he does care a lot for  other cats, even if he may not so easily befriend them, he is also blunt and to the point about his misgivings regarding them - if at any point a cat loses his respect for whatever reason, he will not hesitate to tell them exactly what he thinks of them, should they ever ask, and his respect is very hard to gain back once it has been lost.

• Lakeheart - Brackenpaw has held a certain amount of disdain for his mother ever since he realized how she was treating his brother in favor of him. He thinks of her with a great deal of contempt and does his best to ignore her most of the time.

ROMANCE?

Brackenpaw is a medicine cat, so romance is not something he has planned for his future. That isn't to say he couldn't fall for someone - but Brackenpaw's loyalty to his role and to his duties would be likely to win in the end, no matter how strong he might feel for someone. That said, he does sometimes believe in exceptions to rules, and he isn't a huge stickler about following the code, so it is possible that he might develop feelings for another cat - but very, very unlikely. As it stands right now, Brackenpaw considers his brother and his duties as a medicine cat more important than any other bonds, even friendship - so it's safe to say that he will probably not have his eye on any cat any time soon.

FRIENDS

Lakeheart is at the same time a friend to all and a friend to no one. She does her best to act pleasantly towards all her Clanmates, and make a good impression as a kind and supportive warrior - but she has not so far gotten truly close with anyone, as she is slow to truly trust others fully. It is possible that she could someday make a true and close friend, however - perhaps even one she would show more of her 'true' side to, and not have to worry about feigning any extra warmness around.

FOES

Lakeheart does her best to make no enemies, at least within her Clan; however, this doesn't mean she might not think of some cats with particular disdain, only that she would do her best not to outwardly show it.

ROMANCE?

Lakeheart isn't very much interested in romance - her ambitions and loyalty to the Clan are the most important things to her, and her bonds with other cats far below them on her priority list. Still, she was charmed once - Ospreypaw and Brackenpaw had to have come out of somewhere - but ultimately was left to raise the kits on her own, a fact which she resented their father heavily for (especially since she had never been planning to have a family in the first place on account of her ambitions, or at the very least not so soon.) This 'betrayal' of sorts has left her even more disillusioned when it comes to romance. However, Lakeheart isn't completely against the idea of romance, and could perhaps one day change her mind if the right cat came along.

Rabbitstar & Ospreypaw ;;

These two could be a bit of fun. Rabbit tends to be a little dauntless and rebellious due to being young and a little bit crazy - in a good way of course. She likes to cause some trouble as well as playing around with kits and apprentices. She could be like that bad influence that brings out his energetic and daring side. They could be friends and she could be a bit of a trouble-maker that teaches him bad habits and eventually has to be the "bad cop" and break all the fun that she caused. I don't know, it could be cute! :3

i think that could definitely be a very interesting dynamic! i think it'd be cool to see those two interact, for sure! this might sound odd also, but perhaps ospreypaw could come to see rabbitstar as sort of a surrogate mother mixed with a cool older big sister friend? not exactly - more just she would take on a supportive and playful role, though her being somewhat of a bad influence would definitely be a little funny! rabbitstar of course wouldn't have to think of ospreypaw like that at all - he's just a sad little cat who's desperate for a 'mother's' approval, lol, and maybe a Clan leader's approval would be close enough for him? that's just an idea, though, so feel free to shoot it down if you don't like it!

I absolutely love that idea! Being around him so much she would definitely form a strong bond with him. She obviously wouldn't be his real mother but she can take him out for patrols with Timber if his mentor is busy and include him on all the adventures. She would eventually begin to think of him like an adopted son and could give him the attention that his mother doesn't give to him. I think it would be so cute! Rabbitstar the daring and courageous leader takes on Ospreypaw as one of her own! Ahh <3

Featherpaw & Brackenpaw ;;

I also want to throw these two together. Featherpaw is such a sweetheart. I think they could meet while traveling and the two just kind of connecting as good friends. She could be his distraction and help him with the issues he has with his mother, or just simply be there when he needs to talk to someone or is in need of comfort from something going on. i think it's just important for medicine cats to be close to one another, especially when they are doing it from apprenticeship. They could be good friends if we work toward it. :3

so im still new to this recent rp game, is that heading of "____ & ____" something im supposed to be doing? because i havent so far, haha, whoops. i can start though if its necessary!

on the topic of rabbitstar and ospreypaw im glad you agree! and i can definitely see her taking him on patrols with Timber anyway, since maybe Timber and Osprey will end up friends, and with Stormcloud having to organize patrols a lot, perhaps at times she would be busy and Rabbitstar would just take Osprey with when training Timber! the three of them seem like they'd be a pretty funny trio actually, lol

as far as featherpaw and brackenpaw, yeah, i think they would make great friends! like i said in his 'friends' thing, he wouldnt make friends easily normally, but considering he'd spend time with her while traveling and at half-moon gatherings as a fellow MCA, i could definitely see them becoming close friends eventually! and yeah, medicine cats who are apprentices together getting close is a good thing!

These two ladies should get together, seriously. Brokensky would have understand, how Lakeheart feels as her own father abandoned her. She would be sympathetic though of course she wouldn't show it. She would probably start talking about nothing, and expect Lakeheart to join in. Brokensky doesn't always understand that sometimes people just need to be quiet, as talking is her way of dealing with grief. Brokensky will likely not bring up the past because she knows how she feels about it and wants to make acquaintances. However if Lakeheart mentions her past, Brokensky will help Lakeheart with what she's dealing with.
